Audio Engineering
I fell into live engineering by accident, working with the good people at HQ Recording. Since 2020, I’ve built a freelance business for myself engineering regularly across a number of venues, and have elevated the standard of live sound locally, gaining a reputation as (one of -to be modest) the best. I am predominantly self-taught, having had to craft my signature sound from the ground up -with the occasional pointer from Leicester’s finest engineers.
I’ve engineered at: The Haymarket Theatre, The International, The Musician, The Soundhouse, 2Funky, Sue Townsend Theatre, The Y Theatre, The Donkey, and more.
In August ’25 I was head engineer of Brewbeat Festival for the first time, highly commended as the best in five years, and assisted by my accomplished apprentice Joe Hitchen who I’ve been teaching for only 10 months, enabling him to take on his own jobs.

I built my first website at the age of nine. I self-host Wordpress on virtual servers -keeping hosting costs low.

In my studio work, I’ve produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered a wide variety of genres, from Rap to Rock and everything in-between. I re-mixed and mastered JohnnieDarko’s second album, mastered Dreamcage’s debut EP, and I’ve had close involvement with the music of a number of artists on the HQ Familia label, with a particular focus on working with Harri Georgio.
